An award-winning dairy farm near the head of the Coly valley, seen from the road shown in Image (in which the farm can also be seen). "The visual appeal of cows grazing steep pasture fields, sensitive use of farm inputs to protect watercourses, and a proactive approach to management of wildlife habitats are all strong features of the ... farm. The farm has some valuable wildlife habitats including springline mire, species-rich hedges, unimproved grassland, and ancient woodland all of which are being managed positively. In addition ponds have been created, thus adding to the biodiversity of the farm" http://www.eastdevonaonb.org.uk/documents/Bronze_Otter_09_news_release.pdf .
