Seen here from The Green, the Outer Gateway was the principal access to Henry VII's palace on the landward side and led directly into the Great Court. The coat of arms of Henry VII is above the gateway. The building which can be seen through the gateway is Trumpeters House - more on this building can be seen at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2485383
