This was the home of Sir John George Blaker, and was called "The Romans". It is on the corner of Stanford Avenue and Southdown Road, positioned in such a way that you are not overlooked. From the back of the house you overlook Blaker's Park, the recreation ground Sir John gave to the people of Brighton. When this photo was taken the property is now Architects Offices.
