This lies on the 'best' (if there is such a thing) descent route from Ragleth, right at the end of the tough Long Mynd hike www.longmyndhike.org.uk It's a fairly easy way up or down the hill in summer; in October, at 3am, in the rain, I can vouch for the fact that it's a slippery place.
