This house was the home of Charles Piazzi Smyth, one time Astronomer Royal Of Scotland, at the end of the 19th century. It is now an old people's home. It is also a grade 2 listed building. This photograph was taken on the day of the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, hence the bunting.
