This Post Office is still open but one nearby at Bollington Cross has now been closed as part of its rationalisation scheme which will see the country lose over 2,000 post offices. A spirited defence of Bollington Cross Post Office was put up against the closure proposal, fully supported by Sir Nicholas Winterton DL MP, but to no avail. Let's hope this one remains open.
