Sign for the Comet

The stage coach Comet was operated by Horne and Co and left the Golden Cross, Charing Cross at 9 am, 3 days a week. The large complement of outside passengers was typical - Comet was licensed to carry four inside and eleven outside passengers. Also showing on the sign is Halley's Comet.
