Padiham: Police station

In the days before 1974, when Padiham became part of the borough of Burnley, this was the old Lancashire Police station - Burnley had its own force. Now, Lancashire Police control that part of Lancashire that has not been subsumed into other authorities such as Cumbria or Merseyside.
