View NE, towards London; ex-GWR Paddington - Reading and the West main line. The train is on the Down Slow, heading for Reading behind 'Modified Hall' No. 6960 'Raveningham Hall' (built 3/44, named 6/47, withdrawn 6/64 but preserved, currently (2011) under repair on the West Somerset Railway).
