Tucked down in this little street are the cottages where my Gran and Grandad used to live in the late 1950's. There have been minor changes to layout etc but they are still charming. To the left, just out of picture, are a row of cottages converted into one huge dwelling called The Old Tannery, but to me they have always had the look of weavers cottages. I can remember the days when they were all individual dwellings with children playing on the street and washing hanging everywhere. Times have certainly changed in that respect.
