View westward, towards Hereford; ex-GWR London/Birmingham - Worcester - Hereford main line, junction (left at end of Down platform) of branch to Gloucester (closed 13/7/59). On the right is the small Shed for engines employed to bank trains through the tunnels to/from Malvern. The 11.45 express from Hereford is headed by 4-6-0 No. 5998 'Trevor Hall'; running via Great Malvern, Worcester and Oxford, it is due at Paddington at 15.50.
