See Image This ammonite sculpture has recently appeared in the newly completed seating area in George Street. As yet there is no plaque describing the work, or the sculptor. Since submission, additional information has been reported in the Wakefield Express newspaper as follows:- Teenagers from Wakefield City Academy worked with professional stone carver Dan Brown and environmental charity Groundwork to create Community Corner, as it is now called.
