Another of Great Milton's sadly missed pubs. After a concerted campaign by locals, they succeeded in saving the pub in the mid 1990s. Unfortunately, they were unaware of the intentions of the new owners who set about upsetting enough regulars to make the pub unviable before the eyes of the Planning Authorities enabling them to sell it as a house in 1999/2000.
