This is the scene looking east-north-east from Planet Lock. The new building off to the left is the Shelton Primary Trust medical centre. Beyond its car park, the former industrial land by the Caldon Canal was cleared some years ago, but regeneration building has been slow, no doubt due to the turbulent financial climate since 2008. A local observer in Norfolk Street (to the left of the derelict buildings) said they should have been demolished ten years ago. Image]
