Former Barnsley British Cooperative Society Bakery which continues to form an imposing backdrop to the waterway as well as being a well-known landmark for regular commuters on the nearby rail line. This section of the navigation canal is the Mexborough New Cut and the picture was taken from the path on the southern bank.
