Alumni from the 1966 intake, some of whom are seen here wandering round the campus during their twenty-fifth anniversary reunion weekend in 1992, genuinely can remember when all this was fields. They are retracing some of the steps of their youth, when this path (more or less) led across windswept winter ploughland from the Library and the lecture theatres to the East Site and Gibbet Hill, whence many of them hitch-hiked to digs, flats or student houses in Kenilworth or Leamington (most of the current halls of residence were built after the pioneering students had graduated).
