Running diagonally down the western slopes of Leitrim hill, Leitrim Road provides a good view of the lowland below. The houses in this area, as in much of the Kingdom of Mourne have been built in the last 20-30yrs and have replaced the traditional Mourne cottages, a few of which still stand but mostly uninhabited. Image
