I first noticed this bright splash of red as I drove past on the A41 dual carriageway about a week ago and had been intending to take a few photos of it; but then at the weekend the heavens opened and many of the flowers were denuded of their petals. However, by today, Tuesday, they were back in their scarlet glory. Fortunately there is a lay-by which allowed me to pull up to take this shot. For a closer (zoomed) view see Image]
