The bus is an ex-Belfast Corporation Roe-bodied Sunbeam (fleet no 244 reg no DDA 994 - built in 1942), acquired second-hand from Wolverhampton Corporation in 1952 and sold in 1957. My memory suggests that it was a celebrity at the time but that’s all I can recall. Further information is very welcome. I don’t guarantee the exact position but my notes record “farmyard, Benraw near Leitrim”. The rest is taken from the Google satellite photograph.
