A C15 church restored in 1875 and 1900 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-96850-church-of-st-mary-the-virgin-washfield . Cherry & Pevsner refer to this as "the usual W tower of the district, with diagonal buttresses, NE stair-turret, and no pinnacles."
