Hillend Reservoir, Auchengray Bridge

The old bridge and causeway spanning the North Calder Water was built in 1797 to allow access to Auchengray House from the Turnpike road - now the A89. The Calder is the main feeder of the reservoir bringing water from its source, the Black Loch.
