The first floor stone band on this building, No 6 Posterngate, is inscribed "Parochial Offices for Holy Trinity and St. Mary A.D. 1864" Pevsner says "By William Botterill, two storeys and basement, polychrome brick with stone detail, Italianate with arched windows to both floors. Pointed arch hoodmoulds to ground."
