Pirbright Scarecrow Festival

The village has an annual scarecrow festival. An eyecatching scarecrow is set up on the green about a week in advance to advertise the big day. 2011's theme is the name William or Catherine following Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton. Groundskeeper Willie makes a good advert for the event.
