The north wall was excavated in 1970 from a mound of earth and the outer walls of the fort left exposed to show visitors the scale and extent of the site. The site is wholly on private farm land not crossed by a footpath. When visiting I suggest calling at the adjacent farmhouse where the gentleman farmer seems happy to advise friendly visitors.
