Roehampton War Memorial

Roehampton War Memorial is located in this attractive setting on the edge of Putney Heath. It is easily seen by bus passengers as they pass by. The inscription on the memorial states that it had been rebuilt in 1952 because the original memorial was largely destroyed by enemy action in the Second World War which is somewhat ironic.
