About to pass under the minor road heading for Tylwch. The stream shared the same course as the abandoned incomplete northern section of the Manchester and Milford Railway at this point. The formation of the railway is evident a few yards further down, but not here; it is possible that it passed above the stream, with both diving under the road together.
