Disused jetty at Deptford

One of many disused jetties along the Thames, dating from the days when the river was a hive of activity, this one is just upriver from Deptford Creek. In the distance, immediately behind the jetty, is Aragon Tower on the Pepys Estate in Deptford. Built in 1962 by Lewisham Council, it underwent a rebuild in 2006 and is now one of London's tallest, privately-owned residential towers at 92 metres with 29 floors.
