Much of the foundry has been demolished in recent years to make way for new housing. This 25' diameter [from memory] high breastshot waterwheel used to power machinery in the works and has fortunately been preserved by the site's developers. Water was brought to Charleston by a leat - which still runs - several miles long, its intake near Luxulyan
