Some golfers putting on the green ahead move in a slow, relaxed, measured manner, obviously enjoying their game and each other's company. "A good walk spoiled" was (I think) a quote by Winston Churchill referring to the frustrations of hitting a small white ball into a hole with a stick. Each to his own. They probably think me certifiable for lurching about their course with heavy boots, a day sack and a map.
