This shallow loch lies beside the B895 just south of Tolastadh. Beinn Thearabeirt, from which it takes its name, is the barely noticeable rise in the ground beyond the far end of the loch. I suspect the name as printed on the maps is incorrect, because it breaks at least one of the rules of Gaelic spelling.
