Buses belonging to Blue Triangle wait on the High Road. They are providing a weekend rail replacement service between East Finchley and Camden Town while Transport For London carries out essential work on the Northern Line. The nearest vehicle is T33, an ex-London Transport Leyland Titan. These vehicles were purchased, along with Metrobuses, to replace the unsuitable Daimler Fleetlines. Delivered new in 1979, it passed to Stagecoach when London's buses were privatised in 1994. Blue Triangle bought it in 2001. In the background is the bridge carrying the Northern Line over the High Road. On the left, contractors for BT have dug up the road across the junction with Bishops Avenue. Info about London's Buses can be found on the web at Ian's Bus Stop.
