Beautifully clear water as befits a burn that supplies water to one of Scotlands oldest distilleries, the Glenturret Distillery - Home of the Famous Grouse whisky. Nowadays the distillery pipes its water directly from Loch Turret rather than taking it from the burn itself. The water is extremely soft, lacking Calcium and Magnesium, having risen from a Diorite formation on the slopes of Ben Chonzie.
