St Joseph's RC Church, Redhill

Built in the 1980s, this church replaced a previous one situated at the bottom end of Redhill High Street, where Bridge Gate now stands (see Image). This previous church had been built in 1897-8, itself replacing an earlier one on the same site, built in 1860-1, which had become too small for the growing congregation in the area.
