The photograph on this page of Huddersfield Narrow Canal by Chris Allen as part of the Geograph project.

The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

The canal is behind the fence and is entering a tunnel under Sellers Engineers. Sellers is a firm of specialist textile engineers and was founded in 1912. In spring 2011 it was due to move to new premises and the site was to be part of a £150 million waterfront redevelopment. The white tower is a water tower associated with water company offices and a nuclear bunker (so I've been told).
