No. 46235 'City of Birmingham' was one of later streamlined batch of this incomparable streamlined Stanier class built 1939-44. Here it is on Crewe North Shed in 1958, by then de-streamlined but in splendid condition. It is proudly preserved nowadays at the Birmingham Science Museum.
