This is the Former Ford Aveley Plant on Arisdale Avenue. This was the factory that made specialist vehicles such as the Ford Escort Mexico http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/car_info/esc1rs16mex.htm , and where pre production development work was undertaken prior to mass production, it had a long death and finally closed in 2004. Today it is industrial units and warehousing.
