The 1930s frontage of Covrad Heat Transfer Ltd. When it was built, it stood in solitary splendour in fields alongside the railway and Sir Henry Parkes Road in front was not yet laid out. In 1937 the firm, then known as the Coventry Radiator and Presswork Company Ltd., advertised that it had been established over 50 years. So, in various guises, over 120 years now.
