Dalton Street seems to date from the 1870’s. A new stretch Image, to the west of the original street, was built as part of the cross-harbour links scheme in the 1990’s. This part of the old street remains with the original alignment (previously seen almost 20 years ago Image) in the foreground. A building (middle right) at the corner of Bridge End was subsequently demolished. The part at the far right is now a car park. The view is towards Middlepath Street.
