Chimney of the former Mytholm Mill

Mytholm Mill was water powered, with a wheel fed from Colden Water, but, in common with many of the mills in the Colden Valley it had supplementary steam power to overcome periods of water shortage. This chimney was constructed some distance from the Mill, and fumes reached it through a ground level flue.
