Some disused jetties just have railings put up to stop people accessing them unofficially, but there were no half measures with this old jetty near Woolwich. Woolwich is in the distance on the left whilst North Woolwich is on the right, with the steam coming from the Tate & Lyle factory at Silvertown. The trees on the extreme right belong to the Royal Victoria Gardens at North Woolwich.
