This derelict steel-framed industrial building, once part of Shaw's Iron Bridge Works, is currently surrounded by hoardings pending demolition. The site is/was earmarked for the "Island Point" residential development http://www.glenkerrin.co.uk/islandpoint.aspx but its realisation seems uncertain in the recession. The site was eventually redeveloped in 2019 Image
