View in the Depot Yard, amongst an interesting selection of locomotives employed on this part-Welsh outpost of the LNER (ex-GC, ex Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay) network. No. 8201 normally worked on the Docks lines at Connah's Quay. Wrexham Depot in 1947 had an allocation of 29 engines, comprising:- 4 0-6-0, 5 4-4-2T, 11 0-6-2T, 7 0-6-0T and 2 0-4-0T, all being ex-GC.
