AOH stands for Ancient Order of Hibernians. It is the Roman Catholic equivalent of the Protestant Orange Order. Both are fraternal organisations and both are equally fond of marching behind fife and drum bands. Being working class organisations, it not unknown for the two organisation to share band instruments and even musicians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancient_Order_of_Hibernians http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_Order http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A7bDVkeBvg&NR=1
