Dominating the terrace of cottages now a restaurant called Little India at Lovers Leap. The name of the cliff is usually spelt (as I have done) without an apostrophe. This is particularly wrong in this case as there was only one leaper in the story which has led to the name. A certain Hannah Baddeley is said to have survived a jump from the edge in 1762.
