The Millennium Garden in the centre of the village of Culcheth was constructed between September and December 2001, on what had previously been a large triangle of grass on the junction of Common Lane and Warrington Road. The Millennium Clock, in the form of a giant sundial, was the last piece to be installed. The Garden was awarded first prize in the Hard Landscaping section of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) annual awards in 2002. http://www.culcheth.org/mgarden1.htm - Culcheth.org
