A corner or the Tarmac Topblock yard in the former Hilton Main Colliery. From 1933 this part of the colliery site was occupied by a brickworks using clay and colliery refuse. Many of the housing estates in Wolverhampton were built using the local red bricks. Maybe not strictly 'bricks' but the modern alternative!
