View southward towards the buffer-stops; ex-Midland & Great Northern terminus of the line from Melton Constable and points westand north. The train is the one shown arriving in Image] from Derby. An ancient ex-Great Eastern F4 2-4-2T (No. 67176, displaced from its work on London Suburban services) is struggling out with this main-line stock for Lowestoft over the ex-Norfolk & Suffolk Joint line through Gorleston-on-Sea.
