This was the family home of the Great War air ace Albert Ball VC (1896-1917), whose statue is in the grounds of Nottingham Castle - see Image] and Image The Albert Ball Memorial Homes are in Church Street, Lenton - see Image] and Image I held the camera high above my head to shoot over the high fence which borders the twitchel leading down from Lenton Road to Castle Boulevard.
