View westward, towards Alloa and Stirling; ex-North British Stirling & Dunfermline line. Although Forest Mill station was closed to passengers from 22/9/30, the service between Alloa and Dunfermline continued until 7/10/68, goods until 6/10/79. Here in 1962, Gresley J38 0-6-0 No. 65925 is - nominally - on a goods working.
