The tramway ran about 5km from the Low Moor Ironworks to the canal at Brighouse, and there were also various branches to coal mines. Here it was on an embankment, mostly removed now, and crossed over Whitehall Road (the A58). The white tower in the distance is part of Marks Chemical Works in Wyke.
